Moonbase Brewing Logo
This logo is being created for a new brewery in Colorado.
Delirium
This is a typographic poster for the book, Delirium, by Lauren Oliver. The distorted image suggests the struggle the main character experiences in this novel. The fragmented typography also reitterates this concept.

Wonderland Brewery
Wonderland Brewery is located in Broomfield, Colorado. I wanted to bring more of a brewery vibe to this rebrand. The current mark looks more like a dentistry than a brewery. I wanted to maintain the Alice in Wonderland theme. I extended the identity into labels, t-shirts, bottle caps and a variety of other applications.
Personal Mark
This is a personal logo
Book Jacket
I used an illustration of a tree because the plot of several stories take place in a forest, an often used setting for fairy tales. I also incorporated the red apple falling of the tree to represent the story of Snow White. On the back cover, I combined Red Riding Hood and the Wolf together since those characters are so intertwined.
CD Cover: Ambiguous Rebels
This CD cover for Ambiguous Rebels has a rebellious feel but still is simple. I created the font by hand with geometric shapes. The shapes expand out of the word to show the rebellious side of breaking out and pushing boundaries.
Pompeii: Frozen in Time
This narrative design deals with the notion of time. This publication is for the Italian city of Pompeii, which was buried by the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. This narrative is on the history and aftermath of Mt. Vesuvius. I added transparent pages to add depth to some layouts. All of the photos throughout the book are my own photographs that I took of Pompeii when I went on a trip to Italy. I picked very simplistic color palette so that the colors did not pull from this story of such a tragic event in history.
Kettle: World of Tea Museum
Kettle: World of Tea is a museum where you can come and learn the history of tea and all the different kinds of tea, even health benefits of each type of tea. There is a little café inside where you can sample and buy teas from all over the world. I made this brand very colorful to incorporate cultures around the world. No matter who you are, this museum is for you. I created posters for different areas of the world where different types of tea come from. I made the posters full color to catch your eye whether you are in a subway or on the street. I want it to be very welcoming and fun.
Oven Bakery
This brand is geared towards a young adult audience in their early 20s to 30s. What is special about this bakery is that you can drink and learn the mixology of cocktails while you take a baking class. This is a similar idea to “canvas and cocktails,” where you can paint and have a drink with friends.
Superman
This is a narrative design in which the topic is none other than the Man of Steel himself, Superman. I perfect bound this book because Superman is a strong bound superhero which is also why I chose to play on his nickname “Man of Steel” for the cover of the book and make it actually out of metal. I then engraved his symbol into the metal as if he used his heat vision to engrave it himself. I made the spread designs minimal in color/duotone color to make the spreads and pictures pop more with contrast. I picked red because it’s the color most identified with Superman and is bold and strong, just like his super abilities.
